CELEBRATE

THE EXTRAORDINARILY AUTISTIC

What Is Club W.O.W.

….and why we were founded?

We saw a need in our communities…

There was not a space specifically dedicated solely for our Autistic youth. There are programs that incorporated them, but we did not see a space dedicated to cater to their specific needs, where they could be free to be themselves, to interact with individuals with similar needs, and be challenged to learn and grow.

So we decided to create the solution! Our goal is a cultivate a space that Autistic teens and young adults can call their “world”. We want to provide a service for intercity families as well as impoverished communities. We desire to help Autistic teens and adults learn skills to increase their independence within their homes and their communities. We understand that there are similar programs but many are not accessible for inner city families and many are not dedicated just for the extraordinarily Autistic! So therefore, Club W.O.W. came to be!

Our Services..

Our services are taught in school, but this program will provide further training to help facilitate increased independence to develop individual roles in their homes and communities in a more extensive way outside of school.
